Direct Mail Sales Representative

The Spectrum Marketing Companies continue to expand and are looking to hire experienced direct mail sales and marketing representatives to join our team.

We’re looking for top performers that have an entrepreneurial mindset and know how to make things happen. Candidates must have 3-5+ years related experience in direct mail or commercial printing sales. Knowledge of offset printing and/or direct mail design standards and strategies required with an understanding of general marketing concepts a plus. Must be very detail orientated with strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills.

We help our clients develop effective direct marketing programs and are in the unique position of operating our own commercial printing and direct mail facilities along with an internal graphics design team of 20+ designers to maintain total quality and control over the entire process. Our large format sign division, web-to-print solutions, and email marketing platforms provide additional opportunities to deliver support services to our clients looking for total campaign coordination and offer incremental sales opportunities to our sales team.

Marketing Manager

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the hands-on development and execution of outbound marketing programs with a heavy emphasis on B2B direct mail campaigns.
  • Work with in-house design staff, print production and the Digital Marketing Manager to develop high-impact cross-media campaigns.
  • Help develop the promotional message, offers and general copy to ensure a high degree of relevancy to the target market.
  • Administrate the marketing planners of each division and various target market segments and coordinate the timely execution of all planned activities.
  • Assist in the coordination of trade-shows and various promotional events to ensure an appropriate ROI. Past trade-show experience a plus.

Critical Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced in B2B marketing using direct mail, related design principles and how to drive response.
  • 5+ years general marketing experience with agency or internal marketing department backgrounds preferred.
  • A successful track record in using a multi-media approach to generate leads with high conversion rates.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to provide general creative direction with copywriting skills very beneficial.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once in various stages of development and ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels
  • An assertive personality to support the successful acquisition of key information from those involved in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems helpful.

Junior Web Designer / Graphic Design / Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

We seek a talented individual to join our marketing & web design department. This candidate will work on internal and client web properties as well as email marketing design and coding, remarketing campaigns, landing pages, web-to-print portals product creation and administration, marketing collateral, social media and blog graphics as well as general marketing department functions.

Preferred candidates will have a mix of web and graphic design experience and working knowledge of modern responsive web design with programming skills using HTML5, CSS3, and PHP relative to WordPress, and a working knowledge of implementing JQuery and JavaScript helpful. Must work well individually as well as within a creative team in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, be quality-driven and pay close attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of modern responsive web design with programming skills using HTML5, CSS3, and PHP relative to WordPress, and a working knowledge of implementing JQuery and JavaScript helpful
  • Working knowledge of WordPress site editing and management
  • Graphic and code edit sites on the following frameworks: Foundation, Bootstrap, WordPress, Web-to-Print Marcom Sites, etc.
  • General knowledge of SEO principles a plus
  • Social media experience and integration a plus
  • Responsive HTML email design and deployment
  • Experience with web-to-print stores a plus
  • Past experience working for or closely with a commercial printer, pre-press knowledge is a plus

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making a high volume of outbound sales calls, working with our vertical market managers, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience making high volume calls

  • Experience working with CRM tools

  • 2+ years of outside business-to-business sales or account management experience preferred. Recent college grads with a high level of motivation and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
  • Previous local advertising sales a major plus but not required.
  • We will train those that don’t have the preferred experience if you can convince us you have the desire and drive to succeed.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and email applications are required.

Responsibilities:

Account Coordinator

The Spectrum Marketing Companies are looking to add an additional member to our growing key account support team and seek an Account Coordinator.

Recent college grads and entry-level candidates with the right drive and basic skills will be considered. 2+ years experience in marketing, printing or direct mail production preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate. An outgoing personality and strong communication skills with the ability to interact with sales, design, production, management and customers are fundamental to the position. Candidates should be very detail orientated, creative thinkers, adept at problem solving and open to learning and growing their skills through involvement in a wide variety of areas. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and other general Microsoft Office Suite applications is required.
